You do not have to use these resources; they are approved because proper use of them will meet the outcomes. However, I believe the Shakespeare plays listed are the only ones to be used if doing Shakespeare in a given year. There may be some modern plays suggested, but others are possible.

While we are required to pick from the list of fiction and non-fiction for the book study, for all other resources, we can use pretty much anything that fits within the categories which need to be covered (short story, poetry, etc.).
